Combustible Gas Detector Alarm Settings
The flammable gas detector alarm system is made up of the combustible gas alarm controller, combustible gas detector and fire disaster light-sound alarm. It can give an alarm in advance when the combustible gas leakage concentration is lower than the lower explosive limit, thus preventing occurrence of fire disasters and explosions caused by leakage of combustible gases.
The flammable gas detector alarm system should be an independent part. The detector should not be connected with the detector circuit of the fire disaster alarm controller. When it is necessary for the alarm signal of combustible gas to be connected with the fire disaster automatic alarm system, the connection can be realized via the combustible gas alarm controller.
The alarm information and fault information of the combustible gas detector alarm controller should be displayed on the fire-fighting control chamber graphic display device or the fire disaster alarm controller with the concentrated control function. However, information of the kind should be differed from the fire disaster alarm information display.
When the combustible gas alarm controller gives out alarm signals, the fire disaster sound-light alarm should be started for the protection area to remind relevant personnel of taking relevant measures.
When the area under the protection of the combustible gas detector alarm system has linkage alarm requirements, the requirements can be realized by linkage of the combustible gas alarm controller or the fire-fighting linkage controller.
If the combustible gas detector alarm system is set up in places with anti-explosion requirements, the combustible gas probe whose detected gas density is smaller than the air density should be up on the top of the protected space, and the combustible gas detector whose detected gas density is larger than the air density should be set in the lower part of the protected space. When the detected gas density and the air density are equal to each other, the combustible gas detector can be set in the middle part or top of the protected space.
The combustible gas detector can be set nearby the combustible gas. The closer it is to the part which might have combustible gas leakage, the higher the sensitivity of the probe is. The protection radius of the combustible gas probe should not be too large. Otherwise, diffusion irregularity of the leaked-out combustible gas might lower the sensitivity of the probe.
The linear combustible gas detector is mainly applied to leakage of combustible gases in the large, open space. In order to ensure probing sensitivity of the probe, the length of the probing region should not be larger than 60m. When there is the fire-fighting control chamber, the combustible gas alarm controller can be set nearby the protection region. When there is no fire-fighting control chamber, the combustible gas alarm controller can be set in places with personnel on duty. The setting of the combustible gas alarm controller should be in line with the installation and setting requirements of the fire disaster alarm controller.
