How to Deal with the High or Low Reading of the Gas Detector?
When the reading of the gain potentiometer in the carbon monoxide gas
detector is too low, re-demarcation is a solution. First, open the
switch on the gas bottle. Adjust the air quantity of the reducing valve
and the flow counter should be readjusted. The adjustment range should
be proceeded in accordance with the steps marked in the manual. The
flowing speed of the pumping instrument and the flowing speed of the
getter pump are adjusted to be equal to each other. In the following
part, the flow of the extender is controlled at one hundred millimeter
per minute. The pressure standard of ventilation should be adjusted to
be slightly higher than the air pressure at the normal state and be
discharged for around one minute.
After that, plug the gas tube onto the sensor's filtering cover. At the moment, the numerical value on the carbon monoxide gas detector starts to rise. Wait for two minutes and the numerical value will regain its stability. Then, the S-gain potentiometer can be adjusted to the concentration the same to the demarcated gas. During the adjustment process of the S gain potentiometer, the numerical value might fail to display. Under the condition, the sensor can be changed for a new one. Finally, close the valve on the gas cylinder, and remove the air tube.
